mapinfo - Import .cdr file into gis/cad format

I have a corel draw (.cdr) file that I would like to import into a GIS. It is a vector format which I thing has no geographic information associated. I would like to be able to get it into MapInfo Professional and use the vector registering tools to place it correctly.

The problem I have is I cannot get it into .tab easily.

Does anyone know a way of getting it into any GIS/CAD format I could work with

Thanks,
