Converting ArcGIS (*.mxd) file to QGIS (*.qgs) file?

I recently tried to use QGIS and I wondered if you can convert a draft ArcGIS map (*.mxd file) into a QGIS project (*.qgs file).

This would avoid thematize the entire project.
