arcpy - Creating table containing all filenames (and possibly metadata) in File Geodatabase?

I need to create a metadata-table for all files in a File Geodatabase.

Is it possible to automatically be updated with new filenames, and possibly even metadata (as created in the ArcGIS metadata editor)?
